After tea DC Sir taught us "Story based Pedagogy in context of NEP-2020.

3rd February

 Morning Asssembly by Group E.

First session was about " Library Advocacy  and Collaboration activities in School Library" by 

Dr. Neeza Singh.

After Post test held.

Then we visit to TS Central State Library.

2nd February

 Morning assembly by Group 'D'.

First session- Class Library set up as per KVS Library Policy by Mr. Bipin Tomar

Second Session-Online Session and topic was " School Library" by Mr. S.L Faisal.

1st February 2023

 In assembly we celebrated "World Read aloud day".

First session - "Action Research" taught by Mr. Tejinder Singh.

Second Session- Taken by Mr. Rajiv Ranjan and topic was " Ethics"

31st January 2023

 After assembly session was starts.

First session about " IPR Copy right and Plagrism" by Prof Dr. Ropak Chakrvarti, Punjab University.

In this session we know about IPR, Plagrism, wipo, Patents etc.

Second session was "Career Counselling" taught by Dr. S. Prakash. In this session we know various carrier related courses like Museology, Advertising, Public relation etc.

Next session was Demo session . 

30 January

 After assembly celebration  Martyrs' Day was celebrated which is  also known as Shaheed Diwas.

Next session Mr. Sunil Saini sir taught us about " Book club". In this session we know information about different activities in library and how book club is formed.

Next session was about "New technology in Library and Information Science" taught us Dr. Neeraj Kumar Singh. After lunch demo class was run in which different participants give information about different topics. Last session was hands on session.

29 January

 After assembly first session was "Artificial Intelligence". This session was taken by Dr. Punit Mudgil.

in this session we know about GPT, Google extention, Talk to book, etc.

Second session was taught by Mr. Faisal and topic was "Social Media on Academic Libraries". In  this session we got information about SLA and different social media like Facebook, Instagram etc.

 The day started with Assembly by group -E (Bibliophile) followed by school prayer.

Next session  was taken by Mr. Jugal Kishore , AC, KVS, RO , Chandigarh, addressed the participants and the topic was "Flagship Programme in KVS" .

He taught different KVS programe like -Funday, FLN, JIGYASHA, TARUNTASVA, PUSTOKAPAHAR

26 January

 

21 days of In-Service Course for Librarians of 9 regions of KVS reached its day 11 on 26-10-2023,the 74 th Republic Day of India. The day started with Flag Hoisting  by  Mukesh Kumar Sir,D.C. followed by singing of National Anthem and JhandaUnchaRaheHamara….

This was followed by  theMorning Assembly by Team Vibrarians,after that MukeshKumar Sir ,D.C., Course Director addressed the participants and stressed upon the importance of  moral values authenticity, integrity in day to day life and more and more  use of Raj Bhasha in our routine works.

 

 

The first session was on Inclusive Education,which   was taken by D.C.Sir. All the participants were sensitized to be more caring for the children with special needs in their respective schools.

 

After Lunch ,the Quiz was conducted for all participants using Quizzes Aap by Resource Persons Adesh Sir and Faisal Sir.

The second session was on Book Creator.It was introduced by Mr.Faisal and taken up by participant Ms.Jyothi.

After lunch all the participants were given a hands on session at Computer Lab.

25 JANUARY

 

Session started by group RRR assembly . 

Motivational video by Mr Sunil Saini on topic "Team Work"

Inspiring Word by Mr. TekChand, ACD.

Next session was about "Effective Communication Skills " byMs Archna Ray.

" Sexual Harassment of Women at work Place" by Mr. Jugal Kishore,AC, RO ZIET, Chandigarh Region.

Last  session was hands on .

24 January

 Session started by group B. Special information  was related to " National Girl Child Day".

First session topic was "Open Educational Resources: Issues and Context" . Conducted by Mr. Adesh sir.

In this session we know about different Open license Software , Creative Comman License. Number of educational resources aree-Pathshala, NISHTA, DIKSHA,. e-Yantra, e-Gyankosh, NDL, NPTEL , NROER etc.

 The next session topic was "Life skill". This session was very interective and  Mr. Ranjeet Sir taught us life skill . 

Then demo session started by participant. Eight participant present different topic  

23 January

 Today assembly was started with celebration of " Prakram Diwas" on the birth anniversary of Subhas Chandra Bose. Then Quiz session .

First session was about " Digital Library" conducted by Dr. Neeraj Kumar Singh, Deputy Librarian , Punjab University. In this session we know the how to plan and create Digital Library. Sir told us about how to digitized our libraries with help of Greenstone software, their different section where and how to digitized. We also know about Metadata, Content Management Software, OCR etc.

Second session was conducted by Dr. R.K. Upadhayay TA, and the topic was " NCPCR & POCSO Act". Sir briefly told about when POCSO amendment , enactment date, organizing body, need of , corporal punishment, different categories of sexual abuse, important section, punishment etc.

After lunch we visited AC Joshi Library, Punjab University, Chandigarh. Here we know how RFID is used in Library. Their are different section like acquisition section, technical section, periodical section, reading section, internet zone where users use digital as well as virtual library with wi-fi.

 

22 January

 tODAY SESSION WAS STARTED BY assembly with GOOD THAUGHT.FIRSt session TOPIC WAS "CYBERTHREATS AND SECURITY" BY dR. PUNIT MODIGIL. IN THIS SESSION WE KNEW HOW TO SAVE OUR MAIL, MOBILE OR ANY DEVICE FOR ANY HACKER.

NEXT SESSION ABOUT "librarian diary". SUNIL SIR TAUGHT HOW TO WRITE DIARY. IN THIS WE MENTION OUR ANNUAL PLAN, DIFFERENT ACTIVITY, TARGET OF ACTIVITY, LIBRARY RULE, BOOK PURCHASING RULES, READERS CLUB/BOOK CLUB ETC.

AFTER LUNCH OUR CLASS STARED WITHNEW TOOLS" CANVA". MD. SAFI SIR TAUGHT US ABOUT THIS. AFTER THAT OUR HANDS ON SESSION STARTED.

21January

Today session was  started  a wonderful assembly by Group E Bibliophile.

Then quiz session  after  that Mr S.L. Faisal sir taught us about " Role and resposibility as a School Librarian. In this session we know how that how Librarian perform multidisciplinary task like a Teacher, Leader, Instructional partner, Information specialist and Program administrator.

Then Mr. Manoj Bajpai took a class about " Stress Management". We learn how to cope up of stress and  live and work happily. 

Next session was to create a  Newsletter with help of Publisher 2010 . Then practical session starts with help of Mr Adesh  sir .

20 January

 Morning assembly was presented by group D(Vibrarians).

Then learning test was start with Quiz app. Next session was taken by Sunil sir and the topic was " How to increase Reading habit". Sir taught us different effective ideas for school activities. All participants give their view and share some ideas.

Next session was about "Personality Development". This session was very interactive and taken by Miss Manjula mam. In this session we know how to inculcate and boost our personal and profession life. 

After lunch third session  was start at 2:00pm. This session we know how to create a Digital resources for students by web tool "Wakelet". Mr. SL Faisal sir showed us their wakelet and also explain how to  create wakelet. Director sir also present this class. In evening we do practical and create our Wakelet .

19 January

 Today session started with assembly of RRR group. which was very beautiful. After that quiz session started. Then Sunil sir showed a beautiful inspirable video " Think out of Box". Next session about NEP2020. This session was taken by Sunil Sir. He taught us about different education policy. Also discussed about key Principals of NEP 2020. In this session we know about FLN , SARTHAQ implementation plan for NEP2020 and others. Revised curriculum and Pedagogical . Digital library is also play an important in present scenario.

Next session was about " Web tool to create Virtual Library Space" which was taken by S.L Faisal sir. In this class sir suggested some web tools like- bloggers, WordPress, waklet, Spotify, Sound cloud what Sapp, Link tree Good reads, Canvas etc. After that practical session starts with Sound cloud and Link tree.
