 Today assembly was started with celebration of " Prakram Diwas" on the birth anniversary of Subhas Chandra Bose. Then Quiz session .

First session was about " Digital Library" conducted by Dr. Neeraj Kumar Singh, Deputy Librarian , Punjab University. In this session we know the how to plan and create Digital Library. Sir told us about how to digitized our libraries with help of Greenstone software, their different section where and how to digitized. We also know about Metadata, Content Management Software, OCR etc.

Second session was conducted by Dr. R.K. Upadhayay TA, and the topic was " NCPCR & POCSO Act". Sir briefly told about when POCSO amendment , enactment date, organizing body, need of , corporal punishment, different categories of sexual abuse, important section, punishment etc.

After lunch we visited AC Joshi Library, Punjab University, Chandigarh. Here we know how RFID is used in Library. Their are different section like acquisition section, technical section, periodical section, reading section, internet zone where users use digital as well as virtual library with wi-fi.
